This wedding was the most unique wedding I have ever shot or even heard of. Wedding party and guests dressed as pirates and the wedding was in a pirate ship. Jesse even had an authentic pirate sword attached to his side. Cassi looked awesome with an elegant wedding dress. I loved how their fathers had such authentic look to them they look like they popped right out of pirate movie. The only thing missing was the talking parrot. I had to make there photos look more rugged and pirate like, whatever that may be:) I think it came out nicely.  The one on the bottom with Jessie and his father hugging and making ‘aarrggghh’ face is my all time favorite.  Father willing to dress like a pirate and having pride and fun doing it.  I love it.

Sedona and James are made for each other. James is such a gentlman and Sedona is so kind that it just works. We had the wedding at Carlsbad’s Moonlight Beach and man, the weather was so hot and sunny. Regardless, the wedding was very nice and everybody survived the San Diego heat. I find it interesting how in every single wedding that I do, such different style is formed. I don’t have a ‘cookie cutter template’, as they say, and always rely on the energy of the couple and the day for the outcome of the photo. These photos are the mood that I felt in the wedding. This is what makes wedding photography so much fun. It’s always christmas and the photos are like present that i open to see how it looks.

We had the priviledge of photographing Kristy and Corey’s wedding in Rancho Santa Fe, The Inn. Kristy and Corey headed to Africa for their honeymoon. Now that’s a honeymoon. When I try to imagine there days in Africa and how they’re going to spend it, all I can think of are giraffes and wild lions licking the window of the car. I have no idea, which means that one day I need to shoot a wedding in Africa!:0) Kristy and Corey are both triathlon athletes which to me means they can easily both qualify for the Navy Seals. Well, at least the physical test. Here are some of there photos.

I got the opportunity to shoot an awesome upcoming band ‘Subvrosa’. They are based in Los Angeles but play all over California from San Francisco to San Diego! Check out there music at www.myspace.com/subvrosa. Jenna, Max, Christian, Roman and Zac were all bunch of awesome people. They drove at least over a thousand miles to get this photos from me and we shot til 10 at night. They were the shiznit! I love it when people are appreciative like this:) I had to change my style of look from bright colors to dark colors and some drama effect to make the band ‘Grungy’.
